a couple weeks ago travis and i were able to go out to thunder bay, ontario (that's canada, folks) for emerson's, wedding. travis and emerson met at the beginning of dental school and were good friends throughout school. we tried to take care of him as much as possible (we were one of just a few married students) by feeding him, teaching him new games, giving girl advice and we even used him as a babysitter once. he and travis also studied a lot together which probably turned out to be a good thing, too. when we heard about katie just a year ago and knew that they would be getting married, we definitely wanted to make sure we could be there. we are so grateful and glad that we could make it out there for the weekend and to finally meet katie. they are such a great couple and are so happy for them. congrats, guys! now start having kids so we can go on family vacations together! (ok, you don't have to have kids just to hang out with us again)

*note to self: learn how to shape your belly while you're pregnant, wearing dresses, and taking pictures.we went to visit kakebeka falls which is right outside of thunder bay.
