see, i told you he went hunting. (rick, grandpa c, travis, and soon-to-be elder, taylor.) look back soon for trav's week riding a bike. he's been busy. in other news: i am having mixed feelings about fall being here already. fall is definitely my favorite month but it also usually follows a hot, long summer. i can't say that portland was blessed with a fabulous summer this year; not even great. so having fall weather already back isn't welcome around here, yet. BUT i do love me some crisp air, cute fall clothes, school starting back up, everything apple and pumpkin and of course, holidays. so whether i'm ready for it or not i will still try to love it all.speaking of school, calvin starts in a week! he'll be doing the 2-days a week preschool thing this year and he can not wait. although, i think that murray from sesame street has ruined calvin's idea of what school will be. whenever i ask him what he's most excited for he says "to go ice skating, play baseball, and plant a garden". ha!
meanwhile i am trying to figure out how much i can get done during two 3 hour breaks a week with only one kid in tow...oh the possibilities! first on my list? a trip to home goods to find some great fall decorations for the house.
now i'm off to convince calvin he doesn't want to be scooby-doo for halloween...wish me luck!

oh, c'mon! let him be scooby! then travis could be shaggy, you could be thelma (?), and miles could be someone else. a group costume!
ahhh this does my heart good to see hunter in his hunting gear! love it.
what preschool did you guys decide to go with?
rebecca, he's going to tualatin teens and tots. is mckay going?
I agree. Fall coming is such a great feeling because of all that comes with it, but it's also hard to see summer come and go so quickly. Have fun with the extra time while C is in preschool! Miss you, Liz.
