family, food, fun. what more could you want?

just a few days after getting home from paris, we met up with my entire family (approx. 40 people, minus katie and megan) for a family reunion in cascade, idaho. we had a great week staying in a big house together right on the lake. we spent a lot of time on the boat and jet skis, playing games, playing with cousins, chatting, and what my family does best, EATING. the food was seriously amazing! i'm pretty sure the first thing my mom does when planning a reunion is making sure there is enough food because it would pretty much ruin the entire week if it all ran out! haha. anyway, we had a fabulous time with my family. it makes me wish we all lived closer. calvin still asks to go to his cousins house all the time. thanks for a great week everyone!

here are zach and calvin. these two are only about 2 weeks apart in age. even though it took some warming up, they had a lot of fun together. look out for them in 5 years!me and my boys

calvin wasn't convinced that this was supposed to be fun. maybe next year?

yeah, totally me wakeboarding. don't be fooled, this is about all i can do.

my baby! miles is getting so big. i just loved him in this tiny life vest on the boat.

celebrating everyone's birthday with some of his "lady" cousins.

these boys were known to calvin only as the "mad guys"! clayton and andrew are almost a year older than calvin so a little ahead of him on most aspects. but, calvin kept up pretty good-he especially held his own when it came to wrestling! lots of boys in this family!

and the 2009 babies! jane, miles, and wyatt. (yeah, miles was the babysitter of the group) baby james was born just a few days ago and there are still 2 on the way! this family is not getting any smaller, that's for sure!

i love, love, love your family. i love these family reunion updates because it gives me good ideas for our family reunions (although, it turns out many activities are the same...esp. everything revolving around food and similar kids' activities). I just love you C's! And agreed...i have the hardest time finding cute swimsuits that are modest up top...please tell!
