grandma and grandpa come to visit!

the end of july we got a couple visitors! my parents are so good to visit every one of my siblings and our families once a year. (that's nine times!) luckily for them, 4 of us lived close by this summer so they were able to get 4 of us in one trip! we got them all to ourselves for a few days and we all loved it! it was so nice to hang out, relax and play. and as always, we had some good food and great conversation! we're so glad you guys made the effort/expense to come out mom and dad! come back soon.

our first day we headed to the coast. for the record, i have never been to the oregon coast on a sunny day. but it was still fun to walk along the boardwalk, eat some lunch, lounge and play in the sand.

we then showed them some fun fountains that we have close by. grandma and grandpa were so good to get in the water with the boys.

we spent one day at the zoo, but no pictures! we played lots of games, went on a couple walks and loved, loved our time with them here.
