yum. where the good stuff is made.

these are over a week old. oops. since travis has mondays off we have been trying to do fun things together as a family instead of letting monday get here and have the entire day go by without getting much done. so, we have a list of things to do and first on that list was to visit the tillamook cheese factory! can you see where our priorities are? i kind of wish oregon was famous for their chocolate, too. although, those who know me well know that i love cheese ALMOST as much as i love chocolate. and this is goo-ood cheese. in fact, so good that some may have their moms buy a huge 2 pound costco size brick of it, pack it in a suitcase, and deliver it while visiting her poor, tillamook-less daughter in boston. no, it wasn't me. but i did indulge.

this is after many attempts to get calvin out of the stroller to get a picture with the dang cow! he was promised ice cream at the end.

once out of the stroller, he actually really liked watching all the yumminess getting made.

do you think he thought the cow was thirsty or maybe he wanted some milk?

tillamook doesn't only make really good cheese. in my opinion, the ice cream is even better. our fav? chocolate peanut butter. look out if it's ever in our freezer. cause it won't be there long.

then we went to the coast to feed some birds. this was my first time visiting the coast since moving back to oregon from the east coast. they are so different and it made me kind of miss the east. but isn't this pretty, too? at least our beaches aren't covered in snow.

such a good daddy. i love this picture of trav. no real reason. he was so nice to hold miles and keep track of calvin so i could take pictures.

oh, and hey. miles is walking like a maniac. he can stand up by himself without pulling up on anything and just take off. my life has changed big time. and i love it. miles loves it too. i always love when my boys have started walking. they are way more independent and much happier.
age miles started really walking: 12 1/2 months.

Soul sisters once again. I love, love, love cheese. Love it. Maybe you should have a herd of girls take over your house so we, too, can enjoy the sight of deliciousness being made.

Pretty cute! Life got easier for me when my little Avery (second daughter) started walking. The girls play so much better together now that they can both run around together! It's great!

Lol. I love you guys. And p.s. do all the beaches in Oregon look like the goonies beach?

i'm dying right now because my dad JUST brought me a new brick this last weekend. i can survive again. THANKS. and our husbands are going to have to start a support group for "husbands whose wives want to take pictures everywhere they go so we have to watch the kids." just ask landen... i'm loving your pics.
let's both eat our tillamook cheese tomorrow at 2pm (11 your time) and think of each other.

We are big fans of the cheese too! The beach looks like a lot of fun. I want to go to a beach right now... any beach snow or not!

Yum! I think I gained most my college weight because of cheese. I love your photos bytheway. You look like a professional already! I got a new camera as well, but haven't quite mastered it like you have.

Liz,

I love the pictures--especially the one of Calvin holding up his cup to the cow. Give me a physical address so we can send our annual valentine's card, huh?
