i have all three boys taking naps. trav has been sick all week and had a break in his day so came home to take a much-needed nap. another perk to living 1 minute from the office! so...i have found myself blogging. and yes, i still have a million things to do but this has, for some reason, taken priority?!
so, you lucky readers get a look inside my head. here's a short list of what keeps my mind occupied these days:
- currently helping to plan 1. a bridal shower for trav's sister ashley and 2. a baby shower for my sister alisa. both very fun and well worth my time!
- leaving for the weekend to spend some highly anticipated time in washington with alisa and ryan.
- thanksgiving at my house this year. how do i cook a turkey again?
- calvin is not nice to miles. i take that back. he loves miles and is usually nice to him but calvin LOVES being rough. i think he sees that miles can crawl now so assumes he is big enough for all the big boy stuff. we are having lots of time-outs and big ol' tears.
- miles can crawl. enough said, right? baby proof, baby proof, baby proof. and close doors. especially the bathroom doors.
- how to decorate my new house for christmas with only the decorations from my tiny boston apartment??? (let's be honest, this takes up a lot of my thought process lately)
- soccer. yep, i'm on an indoor team. ha! it's only funny because out of all of the sports i have played or at least tried to play, soccer has never been one of them. so my team is very patient with me as i learn how to play. it's actually very fun even though we still can't win a game!
- and then there's always all of the normal stuff going on in my head, i.e. bills to pay, books i want to read and finish reading, projects i want to start and finish, friends i want to call, new babies being born, keeping my house clean, etc. etc. etc.

SOCCER!? i'm glad you have things to plan and decorate, we really need your planning skills out here. and we need you to come see new moon with us on friday. miss yer guts.
I don't know how u do it with two. the thought breaks me out in hives.
Off to clean up spaghetti from my floors, walls, and ceilings.
whew, you ARE a busy woman. thanks for sharing so i don't feel like the only one feeling pulled in a million directions. if you figure it out, let me know. ;)
It's actually quite comforting to read. Life of a mommy is so fun, isn't it!! I don't know if I would be brave enough for indoor soccer, that is awesome that you are on a team! Have fun this weekend too!!
I love your head! I felt like I was reading something from my own head!!! Anika and Avery are going through the same things as your boys. Avery is almost walking now, so Anika is extra crazy around her. Oh boy. And I'm decorating for Christmas this weekend, but don't know how I'm going to make my seemingly large house look as great as I did my itty-bitty apartment! We're going through the same things. Well, exept that Sean is in his first year of dental school, not his first year OUT of dental school! Sure do miss you!
loved the little trip inside you head. Surprisingly, inside my head is very similar, minus all the child stuff :), but especially the part about how to decorate a house for Christmas with minimal apartment sized decor. Kinda sad how that has such an impact on us. We are too funny...
here is something else for you to think about...
I'M COMING FOR CHRISTMAS!!
my dad just bought us tickets. dec 19-31 get ready for a tutt extravaganza! that is... when you are actually IN TOWN. can't wait!
