we finally took the plunge and had calvin's tonsils removed early this morning. we've always noticed that his tonsils were extra large. he's been snoring since he was a baby ad we've been concerned about his sleeping and how it may effect his growth. he doesn't get sick that often but anytime he does get sick it's hard for him to breathe. he was so tough and brave. i'm so proud of my little man. here he is a few minutes after getting his IV put in his arm. (which was probably the worst part so far)
so the tonsils are out and surgery is done. now let's hope for an easy recovery of eating popsicles and watching movies.

You'll be soooo glad you did it! Try to have a good week. Recovery is almost as hard on the mommy as it is on these poor kids! I hope you bought yourself some icecream too! :)
they put his iv in him when he was still awake? wow what a brave kid when my boys had theirs out a little over a month ago they put them to sleep first and then put the iv in. hope he feels better soon
What a brave boy! We are getting Bennett's out soon and I am Sooooo dreading it, so what a brave mom too! I know it will be so much better than listening to him struggle to breath at night.
poor calvin! I think getting the IV is the worse than getting an epidural.. so impressed calvin did so well. hope these last couple days have been okay!
