way back in july trav's cousin jami came out with her family for a visit. she's a great photographer and has a little business in utah where they live. while she was here we needed a family picture for an ad the office was sending out announcing trav's arrival to the offce. anyway, we asked if she would take some pictures for us while she was here. we lucked out and she was able to take an evening away from her vacation and took some great photos for us. i just got the cd in the mail, printed all of my favorites, and just hung them on my wall. i just sit and stare. i love these photos. i am so lucky to know so many talented photographers who can take some amazing pictures for us. thanks again jami! check out the link to her photo blog on my sidebar.
as a sidenote- i really miss having my personal photographers around to take pictures of my kids. looks like i'm going to need to invest in a new camera...

in other news...we've been one, big happy family around here after byu's victory over oklahoma on saturday. another reason to love this time of year: college football season has begun. and not a bad way to start. and you better believe this year we invested in directv JUST so we can watch byu football. gotta love it.
we're enjoying a nice labor day in oregon just hanging out, getting some things done. nana and papa are coming over for dinner and a little fhe tonight. and then trav's doing my hair. haha, yes, doing my hair. what more do i need?

those pictures are great!! I wish I knew anyone who could take pictures for us! The only place we can go is to jc penny's or the place in the mall. and those don't turn out very good.
