you better believe i stayed up wayyyy past my bedtime to watch the game. and it was so worth it! unfortunately during the last 3 minutes of overtime calvin woke up screaming so i had to go in and comfort him but i knew the whole time that victory was mine...and ku's. rock chalk jayhawk!
to my competitors, mainly richie and ralfeo (dad), better luck next year. may the best mama win. there really was no doubt in my mind...even in the last 10.4 seconds of regulation, i knew. and a special shoutout to my sister amy who shared the title with me on my family's bracket! so sweet.
you really can't get any better than this. according to travis, this is the only time when you will "see grown men cry". i still get the chills and a little choked up when i watch. take a peak:

i should have known you'd already have a victory post on here!! well, i must say... kansas definitely deserved to win that game. oh well, my bracket was pretty screwed up anyway... so i'll go ahead and say it: congrats jayhawks! :)
Oh, how I *loathe* overtime! Especially when it starts at 11:33--this time zone is killing me! But it was awesome!! Luckily our kids didn't wake up, though I thought they would with the huge racket in the living room!
Congrats! I woke up depressed this morning. Stupid Free throws! AAARRRGGGGHHH. Good call on Kansas.
It truly was an amazing game! I love that there was 7 seconds left, and Kansas made a three to take it into overtime. Such a clutch shot. I love college basketball! Way to win your bracket Liz!!
