twice every year people around the world gather to listen to our prophet speak. it is an amazing opportunity to hear from leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have been called by God. we learn doctrine and are reminded of righteous choices we should all make in order to be happy and stay close to the spirit. one thing i love about the church is that we have a living prophet today, just like in the days of the bible, who can lead and direct us. and this weekend we were able to listen to him and others who have been called to teach.
i am so grateful for our new prophet, Thomas S. Monson. i love to hear him speak and i know that he is a true prophet of God. if you want to learn more please visit the church website here.
